The LUSU Board of Directors is the governing body of the Student Union and consists of 16 elected Directors (14 for Thunder Bay Campus and 2 for Orillia campus) and three elected Executive including the President, Vice-President Finance and Vice-President Student Issues. As a member of the Board of Directors (BOD) you will experience the thrills of live-action debate, the excitement of being on the frontlines of some very important issues, events and the joy of one-to-one interaction with your peers and fellow students as you work diligently to keep them informed and bring their questions and concerns to the board table.

Being a LUSU Board member is a great responsibility; each member represents the voices of more than 600 students. Through countless events, sub committee work and weekly board meetings, board members have to seize opportunities and make sacrifices. They will learn a great deal about themselves, as well as how things work within the student union. Most importantly, as a member of the BOD you are the most effective resource for keeping LUSU accountable to the students we represent.
