Health & Dental Plan: Opt-out period

The health plan opt-out application can be completed online at wespeakstudent.com starting September 1 until September 30. You need to provide proof of existing coverage to complete the opt-out application by entering your provider name, policy and group numbers.

Health & dental plan fees will not be removed from student accounts: the health plan opt-out refunds are administered directly from WeSpeakStudent – usually in mid October after the opt-out period has passed and all applications have been processed.

We send several email reminders with detailed instructions throughout the opt-out month as well, so be sure to check your LU email regularly. There are no extensions to the deadline and applications will not be accepted after September 30, so please make sure you opt-out before this deadline.
