working on behalf of all students
Ad-Hoc Committees are temporary committees established for a specific and limited function such as an evaluation committee or special projects committee. Advisory Committees advises and makes recommendations to the board or staff on specific issues. An advisory committee typically includes people outside the board who have a particular skill or interest in the issue at hand. Standing committees are permanent committees established in our constitution to do the pre-work of the Board of Directors. They can take actions and create subcommittees as needed. These committees are made up of LUSU Executives, Directors, and Members to handle large and complex issues whereas ad hoc committees handle short-term projects. |
